Transitional Supportive Housing

Transitional Supportive Living Homes are high-quality homes, similar to our inpatient homes, where you will live in a supportive and cooperative environment made up of recovering clients just like you.

Upon completing your initial inpatient drug and alcohol detoxification treatment program, your next phase of recovery will involve intensive outpatient treatment.  This means you will live off-campus and travel daily to our outpatient treatment center located in Huntington Beach.

Living off-campus is a big step and you could be faced with the reality of returning to an environment that may not be conducive to maintaining your sobriety while you continue your journey. The triggers that caused you to use drugs and alcohol are everywhere and that lingering feeling that you will fall back into your old habits is very real.  Don’t fear, there is another way. It’s Wavelengths’ Transitional Supportive Living Homes.

What Are Transitional Supportive Living Homes?

Transitional Supportive Living Homes are high-quality homes, similar to our inpatient homes, where you will live in a supportive and cooperative environment made up of recovering clients just like you.   Each resident commits to abstaining from substance abuse and providing positive support to their roommates in a family like an environment, while they continue on with their treatment and integration back into the community.

Simply put, Transitional Supportive Housing is a continuation of your journey to recovery.  You will develop new routines and reinforce positive habits with your new “sober-family”, while you continue on with your outpatient treatment program at our center. It not only allows you to practice the new skills you’ve learned, but it takes place in a safe, supportive environment where people just like you are handling the same challenges that come with maintaining your sobriety.

How Does It Work?

Located in beautiful Huntington Beach, Wavelengths Recovery’s Transitional Supportive Housing gives our clients the safe and welcoming environment they need to continue the recovery process. Our outpatient homes allow our participants to return to society with an active community surrounding them as they continue treatment and transition to a healthy and happy lifestyle.

In addition to our homes, Wavelengths offers a nationally accredited intensive outpatient treatment program to help our clients continue on their path of sobriety. Participants will learn how to cope with cravings, find healthy ways to reduce stressful situations and identify and avoid the triggers that lead to drug and alcohol abuse.

With our high-quality Transitional Supportive Housing and nationally accredited outpatient treatment program, participants will create relationships and skills that will help them through the transition from addiction treatment to real life, and beyond.
