Recovery is an ongoing journey even after treatment. We know the importance of taking your recovery one step at a time. The outpatient treatment center at Wavelengths in Sonoma County (“Wavelengths – Sonoma”) can be an effective environment for many individuals striving to overcome drug and alcohol addiction. The center is centrally located in beautiful downtown Petaluma, California, in the historical Great Petaluma Mill building.
Wavelengths – Sonoma is an intensive outpatient center, certified by the California Department of Health Care Services and nationally accredited by the Joint Commission. Wavelengths -Sonoma is staffed with licensed therapist and certified counselors. Participants are provided with an individualized care plan, offering both individual and group therapy, skill-building tools, and access to a safe and supportive network. Wavelengths Sonoma program adheres to a holistic approach, where clients will have the opportunity to feed the mind, body and soul. The program includes, but is not limited to, nutrition classes, fitness training, meditation, experiential outings, and independent living skills. This therapeutic environment allows our participants to continue day-to-day responsibilities with the ongoing support of our professional staff. In outpatient care, individuals learn recovery and coping skills, helping them maintain their sobriety and safely integrate into the community.
Our programs were specifically designed to help those in recovery learn to develop a lifestyle independent of substances and/or addictive behaviors. These well-rounded programs include complete nutrition, fitness training, meditation, life skills, etc. This program provides an opportunity for our participants to be in a safe and structured environment by building a strong foundation.
